The Lexus GX is based on the Toyota Prado, but has been completely redesigned by Lexus and is powered by a more powerful 4.6L V8 engine.
As can be expected with any Lexus model, there are a huge range of features fitted to the GX along with an excellent 10 airbags.
Unfortunately, the GX hasn't been crash-tested by any of the global NCAPs so we can't give it a safety rating, but buyers should be aware of the 5-star rating received by the Toyota Prado with which the GX shares a lot of common parts.
