BMW i3

The BMW i3 is BMW's first mass-produced zero-emissions vehicle, sitting alongside the hybrid i8 model in the BMW i range. The BMW i3s is the slightly more sporty variant of the i3, featuring lowered sport suspension, larger wheels, and faster acceleration. With a 120Ah battery the i3 can manage a range of 260km in normal driving conditions. It supports DC fast-charging which will see you completely topped up in 45 minutes, although you're looking at closer to 15 hours from a regular wall socket. The BMW i3 models are equipped with a fairly basic level of equipment, especially by BMW standards, but provide a funky opportunity to experience your first electric vehicle.
