When the Tesla Model S was released in 2012 it changed the game - providing buyers with a high-powered, fully electric sedan that is truly 21st century.

Other manufacturers are still trying to catch up while Tesla continues to improve each model it produces.

Tesla claims that the Model S is the fastest sedan ever built, and with a 0-100km/h time of only 2.5 seconds for the top model it's hard to dispute.

The interior is spacious and minimalistic, with most functions being controlled by the huge 17" touchscreen which puts most computer monitors to shame.
